We are still leaving all the fundraising channels open and will continue to request funds so that we can exceed the original target as additional legal & professional advice will be required for this lengthy campaign.

How to Donate
We are using Landmark Chambers for Legal advice as they specialise in planning cases.  Sasha Blackmore and the strong team behind her will be representing us.

We are also using SLR Consulting a global multi-disciplinary firm offering consultancy advice on all aspect of the built environment and planning.  BNG have retained SLR to advise on a variety of specialist topic areas including:
  • Green Belt
  • Valued Landscapes
  • Traffic
  • Air Quality
  • Sustainability of development.

To facilitate this Brown Not Green (BNG) incorporated as a private not for profit company limited by guarantee in June 2017:  
Brown Not Green Chesham Ltd (Co No 10810899).  The company documents can be seen here:​​ A Board of Directors has been established.  The following represents the key principles of our fundraising policy:
  • All the Directors are local people and nobody in BNG will take a fee from funds donated.
  • Funds donated will only be used if necessary to fund legal advice & representation.
  • All donations will be held in a separate bank account in the company name at Metro Bank.
  • No money will be spent unless the Board feels it is necessary.
  • If funds are not spent, all the money will be returned to every donor. 
  • If funds are only partly used, the residue will be returned pro rata to each donor.
  • Accounts will be kept and made available to any donor on request.

Anyone making a contribution by cash, cheque or a pledge of funds will become a Member of Brown Not Green Chesham Ltd.  If funds are not utilised or spent, all funds will be refunded in full.  If funds are only partly used, they will be refunded in strict proportion to every donor.

​For those who would prefer to pledge by credit card, BNG have created a facility using a crowdfunding portal on JustGiving.  Please note, our previous ability to use CrowdJustice for crowdfunding has been subject to some revised regulatorily and administrative changes that have caused BNG to move to JustGiving.   
This is NOT a charity page and BNG confirm that all funds pledged will go to fund the legal costs of the Village Green Public Inquiry.  Any residual funds will be donated locally.
